korean celebrity diet food

korean celebrity diet food

today on two plus two the ultimate hongdae street food taste test *cue two plus two intro song* so last time we did snacks that was pretty popular

korean celebrity diet food, everyone loves snacks don't they? what's another thing people like about korea? street food! damn right

a lot of you have been asking a video for this so, it's about time we delivered so we are going to show some of the most popular street food you can find in and around hongdae not only hongdae, you can find it anywhere else in seoul ok everybody, we have arrived at your quintessential street food cart walk up and grab a stick of odeng. which is this

japanese call it odeng, but korean's have their own name calling it omuk. you can just go up and grab one and just... *eats* usually, at street food carts, you pay for everything at the end you can get a paper cup and get some of that odeng soup for free *oden soup yasss* next up tteokbokki , so this is how you order. 떡볶이 하나 주세요 (tteokbokki hana juseyo) tteokbokki. hana. juseyo. "hana" means one, "juseyo" mean please give me.

감사합니다 (thank you) *look at that delicious tteok omg* for those of you that are into korea, you probably already know what tteokbokki is. for those of you that don't know, it's basically a sweet and spicy rice cake and it's steaming hot *cue to haeppy and bapmokja making us all drool* next up, twigim. twigim just means fried, or fried "stuff" in street carts. there's usually a huge variety of them. goguma.

pizza mandu. gochu. mandu. gyeran. yachae. japchae. sae-woo. kim-mari. ojing-eo.

so when you order twigim, you have to order them in sets of five you can order them in any combination, either five of the same thing, or two and three, or all of them different, it doesn't really matter. today just to show you guys, we are going to order one of everything! 횀김은 하나씩 주세요. (twigim-eun hana-sshik juseyo) so what i just said was "hana-sshik juseyo." "hana" means one and "sshik" means each thing. and "juseyo" means please give me. *fried goodies* thank you! *food porn shots* so two other things you will find in streetcarts are hotdogs and gamja hotdogs

don't be confused europeans, these are not actual hot dogs north americans call them "corn dogs" it is a sausage wrapped in donut dough and then it's fried the gamja hotdog is the same sausage but it is wrapped in hash brown potatoes this is how you order. 핫독 하나 당 감자핫독 하나 주세요 (hotdog hana dang gamja-hotdog hana juseyo) *fried goodies part 2* *that crunch tho* *tastes great*

next up is not for the faint hearted. now we have something similar in england, we call it blood pudding. but in korea it is called 순뜀 (soondae) it is intestine with pig's blood and japchae, thin glass noodles. i personally do not like eating this thing; so haeppy is going to talk more about it. spoiler: for the sake of this video, bapmokja is going to have to eat at least one piece ;) now before we get to that, there's something special that comes with soondae when you order it. pretty much anywhere. it comes with other innards i know that doesn't sound that appetizing, but listen to me- i love it! it can either come with liver, lung, heart, or ear.

and that's all pork- because this is a pork based dish. korean lesson: liver is 간 (gan), lung is 허휜 (heopa), heart is 염통 (yeomtong), and ear is 귀 (gwi). you can actually choose which innards you want, or tell her not to give you any but, because i love the lung and heart the most, i'm just going to tell her to get me those. 순뜀 하나 주세요 (soondae hana juseyo) 허휜, 염통 주세요 (?) (heopa, yeomtong juseyo) this is the reaction of someone who looves soondae it's just such a distinct taste. lung, this is lung.

aww delicious! delicious and, this is heart. koreans are going to know exactly what i am going to talk about; chinese people you know what we are gonna talk about white people, break out of your comfort zone for this! apparently salt helps. but maybe that's a lie. who knows? *bapmokja smelling the food; feels disgusted*

it doesn't smell nice xd i don't eat blood pudding in england, i don't want to eat this, but for you guys i will <3 if i can do it. *bapmokja not feeling too well* happey: do you want to try the heart? bapmokja: no no no it's gone, but it's horrible. i don't like it. the taste isn't bad, but i know what it is; so i'm not gonna eat that again. some of you who watched our five hongdae food review videos already know what this next item is-

it is chicken skewers or ddalk-kkochi- it comes in many flavors, and i'm going to tell you them here now. sogeum-gui teriyaki. sun-han-mat. so like we learned before, how do you ask for one of each? please put it in the comments if you actually listened to what we said. (you're probably going back to that part eh? ;) 딹꼬치 하나씩 주세요 (ddalk-kkochi hana-sshik juseyo) aww yess

*tasting the food again!* you can never go wrong with chicken. never. next up is something really, really greasy. probably the greasiest thing in this video! the "hat-ba" what is a hot bar? well it is just something wrapped in fish paste, and then fried. what is fish paste?

so remember, go back to the odeng, it's kind of similar ingredient, but not exactly the same oh, it's really hot. there's crab in it! *delicious food* so, we've had the salty, we've had the oily, we had the spicy, now it's time for sweet stuff :) so a lot of you who watch k-dramas are going to know what the next thing is ^_^ we're talking about gold fish breads. or "bong-eo-bbang" there are two flavors- "pat", which is red bean. or choux cream! which is choux cream.

thank you~ so first, choux cream. that's what i'm talking about! now, "pat" or red bean. next up, it's kind of a mix between a savory and sweet treat, but i still consider it sweet. it's basically egg bread; egg on bread. but, it's not really bread. it's moke cake-y. 계란뺑 하나 주세요 (kyeran-bbang hana juseyo) ah, it's so hot!

as you can see it's an egg- you can see the yolk. and the cake. it's sweet cake with an egg baked into it. delicious! thank you very much for joining us on this episode of two plus two if you got real hungry watching us eat street food, like the video, share it, subscribe, and if you do subscribe, click on the gear icon to got notifications for all our videos! stick around, for a sneak peak of the next episode coming up right now. :)
