"here, have this digestive biscuit." - it's just a good cookie. isit digestive because it's good and you'll eat it? - [voiceover] pork scratchings, made from the rinds, or skin, of the pig. - oh my god, that's, that's very fragrant.
- it's just a, oh, it's so crunchy. - oh my god, they, like,left the fat on there? - (laughing) wait a minute, it says, "although every care hasbeen taken to remove bones, "some may remain." there's bones? - y'all probably think thisis so gross, but it's so good. - [voiceover] twiglets a wheat-based savory snackflavored using yeast extract. - (inhalation) they kind ofsmell like old soy sauce.

this is, like, what you dowith these, and then you go (growling) - oh, it's kind of sour. it hasso much onion flavor, though it's, like, making my mouth water a lot. - oh, it's awful by the end! whauh, oh, it's like, everythingthat's wrong with a funyon, with pickle juice on it. - yeah, you won't want tokiss people after this. - they look like funyons, but they taste
like a pickle that was leftinside somebody's gym sock. - [voiceover] marmite a dark brown salty pastemade from yeast extract - (muttering) ok, ok, i'm ready. - what, whoa, whoa what is that? - whoa, hello. (chewing noises) - it's sour and salty at the same time. like you, you gave me a piece of salt,
and dipped it in vinegar,and then made me lick it. (retching) - it's so strong. - i know if i ever go to england, i'll stay away from the snacks, and go straight to the fish and chips. - i'm kind of disappointed thati didn't get to have, like, some crumpets or some,like, what americans think english people areeating all over town.
- i feel like i couldget used to the marmite, in this weird way. - a lot of these things were, like, too flavorful in this, like,vinegary-salty spectrum. the only thing that wasn'tsalty was the digestive cookie. which maybe that is to helpyou digest all that salt. (upbeat flute music)
